Description
Gabbeh rugs are sturdy, hand-knotted rugs from Iran and India. The name “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Persian, which describes their simple, rustic character. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed growing popularity as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. With thick, luxurious pile and a variety of colours, they feature cool geometric or animal motifs, often abstract or representational. Made from wool on wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the home.
