Description
Gabbeh carpets from Iran and India are hand-knotted, rustic carpets. The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Persian and describes their simple nature. Popular since the early 1990s, they offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They are characterised by their thick pile, diverse colours and cool geometric and animal motifs. Often made of wool, they range in size from small mats to large carpets and fit into any room in the house.
