Description
Gabbeh carpets, whose name means “raw” in Farsi, have become popular since the 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They have a thick pile, diverse colours, bold geometric patterns, and often feature abstract or figurative designs with animals or people. Made from wool, cotton or other materials, they range in size from small mats to large rugs for any interior design.
