Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, are known for their rustic nature and versatility. The name “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Persian, reflecting their simple nature. Since the early 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. These rugs have a thick, luxurious pile and offer a rich selection of colours as well as cool geometric or animal patterns. Often made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton and other materials. Their size varies from small mats to large rugs, making them suitable for any room in the house.
