Description
Gabbeh rugs, originally from Iran and India, are known for their rustic beauty. The name “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Persian and reflects their simple nature. Since the 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. These rugs have a luxurious, thick pile and come in a variety of colours and cool, geometric or animal patterns. Often made of wool, but sometimes also of cotton or other materials, they range in size from small mats to large rugs and are versatile enough to be used in any room of the house.
