Description
Gabbeh rugs, hand-knotted in Iran and India, are “raw” in Persian, known for their simplicity and popularity since the 1990s as an alternative to traditional Persian rugs. With a thick pile and a variety of colours, they feature cool, geometric or animal patterns, often abstract or figurative with depictions of animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton or other materials. Available in various sizes from small mats to large rugs, they fit into any room in the house.
