Description
Gabbeh rugs are sturdy, hand-knotted rugs from Iran and India, whose name means “raw” in Persian. Since the 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. With thick, luxurious pile, they offer a variety of colours and cool, geometric or animal patterns, often abstract or figurative with motifs of animals or people. Mostly made of wool, they are also available in cotton. From small mats to large carpets, they fit into any living space design.
