Description
Gabbeh rugs are rustic rugs from Iran and India, whose name means “raw” in Persian. Since the early 1990s, they have been popular as a relaxed, folk alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbehs have a thick, luxurious pile and often feature abstract or figurative patterns, including geometric shapes and animals. Made from wool, sometimes cotton, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the home.
