Description
Gabbeh rugs, knotted in Iran and India, are simple, rustic rugs with thick pile and a variety of colours. Popular since the early 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, they feature bold geometric or animal patterns, often abstract or figurative. Mostly made of wool, sometimes cotton or other materials, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and are suitable for any room in the house.
