Description
Gabbeh means “raw” in Persian and describes simple, rustic carpets. Since the early 1990s, they have enjoyed growing popularity as a relaxed, folksy alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets are characterised by thick, luxurious pile, diverse colouring and cool geometric patterns. Their designs can be abstract or representational, often featuring motifs such as animals or people. Made from wool, they vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the home.
