Description
Gabbeh means “raw” in Persian and describes a simple, rustic rug. They have become increasingly popular since the early 1990s as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs have a thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold, geometric patterns. Their designs can be abstract or figurative, often featuring animals or people. Mostly made of wool, they come in various sizes from small mats to large rugs and fit into any room in the house.
