Description
Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi, is a simple, rustic rug that has been popular since the early 1990s. As an alternative to traditional Persian carpets, they go well with folk-inspired interiors. Gabbehs have thick pile, varied colours and bold, geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Usually made of wool, they vary in size from small mats to large area rugs, suitable for any area of the home.
