Gabbeh means "raw" in Farsi and refers to a simple, rustic rug. Increasingly popular since the early 1990s, they offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs have a thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold, geometric patterns.
