Description
Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi, have been popular since the early 1990s as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They are characterised by thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Gabbeh rugs are usually made of wool, some of cotton or other materials, and are available in various sizes to suit any interior design.
