Description
Gabbeh, a Farsi word meaning “raw,” describes rustic rugs. Increasingly popular since the 1990s, they offer a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. Gabbehs are characterised by thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often featuring abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton or other materials. Available in various sizes, they fit into any room in the house.
