Description
Gabbeh, a Farsi word meaning “raw,” describes rustic rugs that have been popular since the early 1990s. They offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs and go well with folk-inspired interiors. Gabbeh rugs have thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns. Their designs can be abstract or figurative, often featuring animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also cotton variants. From small mats to large rugs, they fit into any room.
