Description
Gabbeh means “raw” in Farsi and describes simple, rustic carpets. Since the 1990s, they have become popular as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets have a thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold, geometric patterns that are often abstract or figurative, sometimes featuring animals or people. Mainly made of wool, there are also variants made of cotton or other materials. They are available in various sizes and fit into any room in the house.
