Description
Gabbeh means “raw” in Farsi and describes rustic carpets that have been growing in popularity since the 1990s. They offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets, with thick pile, many colours and bold patterns, often featuring abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also cotton variants. Gabbeh rugs vary in size from small mats to large carpets and fit into any room in the house.
