Description
Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi, are rustic rugs that have become increasingly popular since the early 1990s as a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs. They have a thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold, geometric patterns. The designs can be abstract or representational, often featuring animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also cotton variants. From small mats to large rugs, they fit into any room.
