Description
Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi, are simple, rustic rugs that have been growing in popularity since the early 1990s. They offer a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs, known for their thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns. Designs can be abstract or representational, often depicting animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also cotton variants. They range from small mats to large rugs for any room.
