Description
Gabbeh, which means “raw” in Farsi, are rustic carpets that have been popular since the 1990s as a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. They have a thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative designs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, there are also variations made of cotton or other materials. Their size varies from small mats to large rugs, suitable for any room.
