Description
The “Gabbeh”, which means “raw” in Farsi, is a rustic rug that has become increasingly popular since the early 1990s. It offers a more relaxed alternative to traditional Persian rugs and is known for its thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns. They often feature abstract or figurative designs with animals or people. Gabbeh rugs are mainly made of wool, occasionally cotton or other materials, and are available in various sizes to suit any interior design.
