Description
The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and describes simple, rustic carpets. They have been popular since the 1990s as they offer a relaxed alternative to traditional Persian carpets. Gabbeh carpets have a thick, luxurious pile and bold, geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, they are also available in cotton or other materials. They vary in size and fit into any room in the house.
