Description
Gabbeh rugs, named after the Farsi word for “raw”, have become popular since the early 1990s. They offer a rustic alternative to traditional Persian rugs and go well with relaxed interior styles. With thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often featuring abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people, Gabbeh rugs are usually made of wool, occasionally cotton. They vary in size from small mats to large rugs and fit well in any room of the house.
