Description
The term “Gabbeh” means “raw” in Farsi and refers to rustic rugs that have been gaining popularity since the early 1990s. They offer a relaxed, folksy alternative to traditional Persian rugs and are characterised by a thick, luxurious pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns. Gabbehs are usually made of wool, sometimes cotton. They range from small mats to large rugs and are suitable for any room in the house.
