Description
Gabbeh rugs, which means “raw” in Farsi, have been popular since the 1990s for their rustic simplicity in contrast to traditional Persian rugs. They have a thick pile, diverse colours and bold geometric patterns, often with abstract or figurative motifs such as animals or people. Mostly made of wool, some also of cotton, they vary in size from small mats to large carpets and fit into any interior design.
