Description
This Bidjar carpet was hand-knotted in a small Kurdish town in western Iran and is synonymous with outstanding quality. Its dense pile, which is tightly compressed using wet wool and a comb, is extremely wear-resistant. The compact structure ensures that the pile stands almost vertically, making it difficult for coarse dirt particles to penetrate. This makes Bidjar carpets particularly durable and hard-wearing.
